Acting and Stage Combat Half-Term Workshop

What to expect?

• Training will include; unarmed combat (hand to hand fighting), Kick boxing training (pad work), rapier and dagger (renaissance sword fighting), quarter staff (stick fighting/spinning), combat falls and rolls, acting, vocal techniques and ensemble movement.

• Participants will gain experience going through industry recognised safety techniques for producing realistic fight performance.

• Participants will gain experience choreographing fight phrases and performance through devising techniques and scripted work.

• Participants will learn to fight individually and as an ensemble (Group battle).

• Opportunity to film their performances for screen at the end of the week workshop (optional).
